Reading this Press Release, I can't help but feel disappointed by what happened between Walgreens and Express Scripts, especially after a yearlong of negotiation. There was no compromise for the sake of their customers' benefits, but rather a complete pulled out from Express Scripts.
Now, Walgreens customers who carry this plan must find different pharmacies, get acquainted with another pharmacist, and drive further from home to fill their prescriptions medication. Thus, Walgreens offers a special annual discount called Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens for family at only $10 dollars, and $5 dollars for individual.
The family include spouse, children 22 and under, and yes your beloved pets also. You are entitled to discount on more than 8000 brand-name and all generic name prescription medications. This offer is only good through January. Hence, this is a good time to take advantage of Walgreens's effort in easing the transition.
Walgreens on Twitter and Walgreens on Facebook are where you can follow, like, and speak your mind. If you are carried the RX card with Express Scripts, and are not happy with what they've done, you can call your local media and tell them how inconvenient or dissatisfying this has on you.
