What You Will Need:
  • 1 box of Toi San Imitation Noodle (you can find this at Asian market, and Meijer)
  • 1 lb of lean pork, or shrimp
  • A few slices of ginger root
  • Green onion, or cilantro
  • A handful of pea pods or bean sprout (optional)
  • Lemon wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste

You probably know by now that many parts of the US Midwest went through storms and tornadoes on last Sunday. Although we was skipped but we got rain, strong wind, and gray sky.

What You Will Need:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh squeeze orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 6 tbsp sunflower oil or canola oil or cooled melted butter
  • Grated rind of one small orange
  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

The colors came up so pretty in the photo above at around 6:30 AM. I thought we will have a great sunny day, as it usually does; but I was wrong. After dropping my son off at his school, the colors were all gone.

Fifteen minutes later, we had a grayish blue sky that promises some more rain with the wind kicking up high. I suppose we are going into winter for sure pretty soon. Have a wonderful weekend..
