I love Chinese Broccoli, so I first cleaned it, and steamed this vegetable, stalks first since it was thicker and took more time to cook. Then, I quickly stir fried it with fresh chopped garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
My son ordered these BBQ quails from a restaurant when we stopped to get some Vietnamese banh mi. He came home from his cruise ship job two weeks ago, and on Sunday he decided to take me to the Asian Stores across town.
We also ordered a pound of roast pork and BBQ pork from a specialty store around where we were shopping. Since we don't go to this area often, we decided to have a Sunday feast without cooking. Well, I only had to make Chinese broccoli and cooked some rice.
