Vinyl fences are an affordable way to improve the looks of your property. Maintenance is fairly simple with this material, especially when it comes to keeping it clean. Below are the steps you can take to completely clean the fence and have it looking like new.

Mix Cleaners and Gather Needed Items

Mix a tablespoon of dish soap and a tablespoon of borax in a small bucket. The borax will help the soap remove stubborn stains. Mold, lichen, and rubber from the tires of strollers and bikes can leave stains on the vinyl that are hard to remove. This cleaning mixture, a stiff bristle brush, and a little elbow grease will get the surface clean. Stretch out a small garden hose for rinsing the surface with clean water.

It is Skywatch Friday if there is still one running. I haven't joined any meme for so long, and am not going to do it anytime soon either. Life changes and finding time for blogging is difficult enough. I am floating now in the direction of currents.

I still love taking pictures of the sky, especially when the colors are so vivid like these ones in the photos. I still am amazed with it everyday but my enjoyment nowadays is just a quiet thought.

Have a great weekend!

Sometimes last year, I buried some dried coneflower heads in my garden and forgot all about it. When I saw the plant I was thinking that it was my blackeyed Susan that I had the year before.

To my surprise, with my anticipation, coneflowers started to show up.
Needless to say, I was very happy to see them growing strong and tall. I now have PINK CONEFLOWERS to enjoy for the rest of the summer. I love to grow flowers and vegetables from seeds whenever I can.

First and foremost, I have to make a sincere apology for those who have visited me and left comments. I am not that proud you see, but rather out of touch with how Blogger works.

I kept looking for comments to approve and to publish after I posted. I saw none! I thought that have lost all relationship with other bloggers since I am not active or posting regularly. For sure, I disappeared for months and perhaps a year or so due to changed circumstances. It wouldn't surprise me if no one visits.

If you are looking for something to watch and have HBO, I highly recommend this new series BIG LITTLE LIES! Out of boredom from all the crappy shows, I started to watch the first episode, and needless to say, I am hooked!

My credit goes to the theme song Little Cold Heart by Michael Kinakuka! It gripped me and haunting me to look up for the song itself. You can listen to his song and let me know if that isn't the greatest song as of late.

Tea! I love tea. I drink hot tea in the winter, and I drink cold tea in the summer. Green tea is good, and so is herbal tea. I have many different kinds, such as chamomile, mint, lemon zest, ginseng tea, ginger, sleepy time, and gray Earl. Depend on my mood of the day; I will have a cup just to keep me warm and calm.

These teas come in bag, and usually after I made at least two cups out of them, I would save them for these purposes:

1) Put them in the compost pile or in the garden to give it a boost of nutrients
2) You can use tea bags to put over your eyes to bring down the puffiness if you need to do so
3) Apply used tea bags on razor burn to soothe the burning sensation
4) Let the used tea bags dried and put them in the cat litter box to remove odor
5) Used tea bag on swollen gum to ease the pain

The first two are my most common things for used tea bags that I exercise more often. I love to know more, so if you have any suggestion for me to add to my list of usage, it would be very helpful to have.

At this time of year, I miss the intense colors in the sky. We went through two weeks with just gray sky, cloudy, and wet weather. Though we don't have that much snow this year, the temperature is still freezing cold.

Everyone wants a low utility bill at the end of the month, yet very few are willing to turn down their thermostats and give up Wi-Fi. The sacrifice doesn't have to be that big. For instance, instead of giving up internet, why not get something cheaper? Broadband Choices provides information on some of the best internet deals. It is common knowledge that lowering these bills requires that you give up your hot showers and invest in a lot of green power gadgets, but before you jump to such adverse measures, there are some little things you can change around your home.

  • Insulate, Insulate, and Insulate Some More
We all know heat rises, and if your home has an attic, there is only one place this heat can go- out. Invest in some fiberglass insulation for your attic to prevent that heat from going all the way out and get a 20 percent reduction on your heating and cooling bills. Installing this insulation is not much of a hustle, and after it is up, the pressure on your thermostat will be reduced, and instead of manufacturing new heat every 10 minutes, your home will be continuously warm due to retained heat.

Insulation also applies to other outlets and switches around your house. There are insulations made specially for switches to prevent air leaks, so get them from a hardware store and save money on your bills.

I have been following this store BoGypsea on Etsy for a while now, and to be honest, I am very impressed with the creativity of this store owner. All her items are one of a kind, handmade with such detail in each of her products.

What you can find in her shop are:

  • Pendant
  • Painting
  • Air Plant Kit
  • Wall hanging art piece

Pictures belong to BoGypysea store owner

They are all beautifully designed! Valentine is near, and this shop would be a good place to stop for a visit.

There are so many wonderful artists out there, and on Etsy, including some photographers that I knew through time. Save a few minutes to stop by and let me know what you think.

The year sets off with lots of indecisiveness for most investors. With UK's ongoing Brexit negotiations and US change of presidency, uncertainty hovers on both local and global markets. The Gold market, for example, rallied the previous year sharply until the start of Brexit negotiations. Similarly, the price of crude oil doubled after a pretty difficult period. As such, investors are likely to lean towards defensive stocks to avoid risk. Next is a look at how best to invest money in 2017.

The stock Market

Despite the volatility of the stock market, it remains a favourable venture in 2017. Given the trend presented by bonds to stock ratio, investors should consider putting their monies in the stock market with a keen interest in the biotechnology sector. The industry did pretty well in the previous year, and its performance has been on the rise for the last five years. Financial experts predict huge profits in biotech stocks if the market becomes bullish in 2017. However, investors who are sceptical about buying biotech stocks should consider venturing in financial alternatives. With higher interest rates, the financial market is likely to breakout from the secular downtrend this year.
