Spring is not yet officially arrived according to the calender, but it sure is in the air! Believe it or not, people already brought their lawn mower out for cutting the grass!
Pretty Blooms
I've got spring fever too, and brought myself to home and garden centers to see what was on display for this year. Since Michigan weather is not trustworthy, I just feast my eyes with beautiful flowers, and didn't purchase anything just yet for the garden.
I don't know the name of these pretty red flowers, but I'm sure someone out there knows! Like a kid with candy, my excitement took over, and I forgot to look for the name tag.
we've been mowing here in texas since early january, and now it is really growing a lot. but after our drought last year, we are grateful for all the green growth! sounds like you're ready for yours!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty red flowers! We still have some snow on the ground. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeletethat is very common flowering plant back home but i can't remember what it's called. i used to pop those green seed buds when i was young. when the seeds are mature enough, you just spread them in a fertile soil and the plant will grow by itself without extracare.
ReplyDeleteRed flowers always brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteI have always liked your way of finding nature where you do. That is a very unique and innovative way of looking at things.
ReplyDeleteI don't know their name but they are just so sweet and lovely.
ReplyDeletebeautiful Icy, you always have a way of capturing the flower's beauty. I love spring, though this is I think our least beautiful spring :( nevertheless, spring is always beautiful :)
