First Week of May
For this month, I just have random shots from around my house, mostly in the front part of the neighborhood. The weather has not been very cooperative most of the time, but I still caught moments when the sun came out to play.

Orange Mini Rose Bud
Here is the orange mini rose that JoJo bought for me on Mother's Day! It looks as pretty as the the normal size roses, but didn't have a sweet smell to it.

Mini Rose
I admired mini roses for a very long time, and finally bought one for my mom on Mother's Day. She is good with growing things, and doesn't have to try hard either.

Shooting the Moon

“The act of compassion begins with full attention, just as rapport does. You have to really see the person. If you see the person, then naturally, empathy arises. If you tune into the other person, you feel with them. If empathy arises, and if that person is in dire need, then empathic concern can come. You want to help them, and then that begins a compassionate act. So I'd say that compassion begins with attention.”

Mixed Greens With Fruits
This was a bowl of mixed greens salad with star fruit and two avocados waiting to be added. It is one of my favorite dishes, and you can mix different types of fruits you have on hand to it! Since this is my sister's dish, she used olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dressing.

Sunrise In the Horizon
Waking up early in the morning has one big advantage to me, and that is by the crack of dawn when the sun comes up, I got out of the house to look for sky photos opt such as moon shots or sun shots. Sometimes, I am greeted with this amazing view.

I am sure you must have come across many blogs talking about Nopalea, a wellness drink that helps ease inflammation, and have sold more than five million bottles already. Drinking this daily, it will help:
  • Reduce pain due to inflammation
  • Improve joint health
  • Relieve swelling in muscles
  • Protect cellular health

Spring Rolls
Around my neck of the woods, there is a little Vietnamese/Thai restaurant serving Asian food, and this plate is their fantastic spring rolls. It was made with rice paper rather than wonton skin. The filling inside includes a touch of meat, clear noodle, shredded carrot, and shredded black mushroom. Then it was deep fried to a crunch!

Through the Thickest
The photos in this post will make your eyes go crazy if you look at them too long. Go on, I challenge you, stare at them. They were beautiful in the morning, and I confessed I saw dots afterward.
