After many scorching days of heat wave, we finally have two days of rain, and the earth loves it. The rain brought the dried yellow grass back to life, and I found mushrooms shooting up around the yard.

Maybe they are not called mushrooms, but I don't know what else to call them. This one above had such a beautiful color and texture on it.

ReplyDeletethe last one looks like a seashell. we don't get to see too many mushrooms here, either. too hot and dry most of the time.
ReplyDeleteoh, what a pretty mushroom indeed. love your shots. we never got rain since may I think, but then, we still have not warmed warmed up, and we always have the morning fog, so my plants still happy even without much watering. but this week, i think we will have our share of heating up, i do not know yet how hot it would be.
