I had one of those days when my teeth are aching for some sweets. I saw a delicious photo of flan, and I had to make it. After looking over the ingredients and the process of cooking, I thought it was easy enough for even me to attempt. So let's get to it, shall we?
Ingredients:
1 small can of condensed milk
10 egg yokes only
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of water
Few drops of lemon juice
Beat your egg yokes, add condensed and evaporated milk, plus vanilla extract. Beat and set aside!
Making caramelized sugar:
Pour your sugar and water into a pot on medium heat, cook until the sugar dissolved, and then squeeze in a few drop of lemon juice to keep the sugar from crystallized. (Believe me, after burning two times, and a few trips back and forth online, this process is very crucial.)
Once the sugar is boiling, stop stirring and let it cook on medium high heat. In the meantime, get a dish of ice ready.
When your sugar cooked to a consistency of golden brown color, take the pot off the heat and set it on the ice dish to stop the process of cooking.
Then pour your caramelized sugar in a mold, add your egg mixture, and steam for 30-35 minutes! Remove and let it cool for 5 minutes. Refrigerate before serving. This recipe is the combination of many searches to make it worked for me.

That looks so good, but very rich with 10 eggs, it must be good!
