Pretty Heart of Poppy
First of all, before you go on saying how I have such pretty flower in my yard, let me assure you; it is not! I live in Michigan, and we just had another heavy rain yesterday; so my garden was all out of whack.

I just love this deep rich orange poppy flower that I saw at the store; where they are rushing every thing, and every occasion, such as displaying Christmas related stuffs all over.
Putting Together
I am anxiously waiting for sunshine and to have a few days of summer weather if it is at all possible. Time is flying by and I still have to drape on a sweater to go outside in July and August. Not normal at all!

ReplyDeleteWell, needless to say, here in India, it is hot and VERY humid because of monsoon rains...which don't seem to cool things off at all. Of course, the day I left Sacramento, it was 100 degrees there. I missed my San Francisco digs, I'll tell you. Six months of grandma duty in Sacramento, left me time for only two short weekend visits home to SF and I missed all my friends and my life of the past 35 years ( and the cool temperatures ). Of course, in CA, golden poppies, the state flower, bloom everywhere.
